Happy Sunday, 561.

Oktoberfest lands this Friday: two weekends of steins, schnitzel and carnival rides at the American German Club on Lantana Rd, with a band coming in direct from Germany. Closer to the coast, stone crab season opens Oct 15 and a Lantana crab house that has been at it since 1982 is where to eat them, a free eco-center on the West Palm waterfront is counting down to manatee season, and a par-60 course in Delray Beach gets you 18 holes in about three hours. Plus the little museum inside Boca's historic Town Hall, and your 40% FAU football discount, now three Saturdays out.

18 Holes in 3 Hours: The Par-60 Course Off Boca Delray Blvd That Anyone Can Play

Boca Delray Golf runs a par-60, 18-hole layout: 12 par 3s, 6 par 4s and a posted 3-hour pace of play. It sits inside a 55+ community, but the course says it plainly on its own site: you do not have to be a resident of Boca Delray to play. The Boca Artist Whose Gummy Bears Made It Into a Hamptons Showhouse

Changles by Michel · Made to Order in Boca Raton

Michel Fox Blum started with beaded jewelry, taught herself resin during COVID, and now runs Changles out of her garage studio in Boca. Her resin game controllers and gummy bears landed in the boys' bedroom at the Hamptons Holiday House Showhouse in Bridgehampton, her mahjong accessories made Social Life Magazine's "Hot Lysst" in August, and her pieces are in The Miami Beach EDITION Hotel Spa right now.

Closer to home, she's the artist your mahjong group is already talking about: custom scalloped pushers with four clear acrylic racks (from $130), new mahjong mats in three colorways ($85), tile necklaces ($85) and glitter canasta side cups ($25), all made to order in your group's colors. For gifting, two pieces you won't find anywhere else: wedding glass sculptures ($175), a clear heart or the word Ahava with the couple's broken wedding glass set inside, and design-your-own mezuzahs ($65).
