There is a kitchen on South Federal Highway still dropping hand-breaded chicken into the fryer at one in the morning, seven days a week, holidays included. That is the anchor of this weekend, whether you get there at noon or after a jazz set. Everything else stacks around it: a pour-over bar that swaps its beans every few weeks, a free maker's market on the Old School Square lawn, and two very different nights of live music at the same address on North Federal.

Four stops, two cities, zero reservations. Here is the plan, morning to one a.m., every address and price verified this week.

What You're Getting Into

Start Saturday at Mane Coffee, tucked into Suite 7 at 500 NE Spanish River Blvd, right by the Federal Highway intersection. This is a pour-over bar before it is anything else. There are usually around ten single origins on the board at a time, and the beans rotate through roasters like Sweet Bloom, Methodical, Ritual, and Bandit Coffee Co, so the cup you order in August is genuinely not the cup you ordered in June. Order a pour-over and they will bring it out in a carafe with an empty glass beside it and let you pour your own, which sounds like a small thing and completely changes the pace of the first twenty minutes of your day. The room is bright and minimal with indoor and outdoor seating and a courtyard view, and the pastry case is worth a second look for the pain au chocolat and the cookies. Food and Wine put Mane on its Best Coffee Shops in America list, which is not a sentence you get to write about many places between Boynton and Deerfield.

The one catch is Sunday. Saturday runs 8 to 5, but Sunday it opens at 9 and closes at 2.

Lunch is Cluck Face at 1179 S Federal Hwy in Boca. Every jumbo tender slider on the board is $8.49, and the flavors are the OG, Nashville, Buffalo, BBQ, Mango Habanero, and Korean BBQ. Heat is a separate dial entirely, running from Country Style all the way up to Extreme, so you pick your sauce and your spice independently rather than getting stuck with one or the other. If you are properly hungry, the Crazy Cluck at $18.99 is chopped tenders buried under mac and cheese, fries, pickles, and comeback sauce, and the Triple Carb at the same price adds ranch rice to the pile. Combos are the value play: a slider plus a side is $11.99, two sliders plus a side and a sauce is $15.99. Sides run cheap, with French fries at $3.79, mac and cheese at $3.99, and coleslaw at $3.59. The room itself is small and loud in a good way, graffiti-style walls, order kiosks up front, an open kitchen, limited seating and fast turnover.

Give Saturday and Sunday afternoon to the Delray Coastal Showcase at Old School Square, 51 N Swinton Ave, right at the Atlantic and Swinton corner. It runs 10 to 5 both days and admission is free for everyone. The booths are local artists and makers: original artwork, jewelry, ceramics, prints, textiles, home decor, and seasonal pieces, with live art demonstrations going throughout and food vendors on the grounds. It is the rare downtown Delray thing you can walk into with kids, a stroller, and no plan at all.

Night belongs to Crazy Uncle Mike's at 6450 N Federal Hwy, and this weekend the room does two completely different things. Friday is Najee, the saxophonist and flutist whose career includes work alongside Prince and Quincy Jones and collaborations with Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, and Stanley Clarke. He is touring behind "Under the Moon, Over the Sky" and playing two sets here, 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., which is unusual for this stage and worth knowing before you buy. Saturday at 8:30 the same room gets True Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute built from local South Florida players, with Lindsay Giova on the Stevie Nicks parts. Both shows are all ages, parking is free, and tickets are on Eventbrite.

The Insider Move

Take the early Najee set. The 6 p.m. show runs to 7:30, which puts you back on Federal with the whole evening still ahead of you and a 1 a.m. kitchen about fifteen minutes south. The 8:30 set is the better late-night mood but runs to 10, so pick deliberately instead of defaulting to the later time. Either way, Crazy Uncle Mike's lets you reserve a table when you buy, and refunds are available up to seven days out.

At Mane, order a pour-over rather than an espresso drink. It is what the shop is built around, and if you say it is your first time, someone will walk you through what is on rotation that day. Regulars have reported getting handed a free taste of whatever espresso they were dialing in that morning. And treat Sunday as the early day, because the 2 p.m. close catches people out constantly.

For the Showcase, use the city garage at 95 NE 1st Ave, a block east of the lawn. Rates in downtown Delray have shifted more than once in the past year, so check the current signage or the My Delray Beach app on your way in rather than assuming it is still free before four.

Cluck Face sits at 4.8 stars across roughly 1,400 Google reviews, which is a hard number to post anywhere in Boca. Regulars keep circling the same two things: the size of the chicken and the sauces. Mango habanero and the mac and cheese come up over and over, and reviewers who ordered the Hot level report it actually delivers, which is not always true of hot chicken outside Nashville.

Mane draws a smaller and more obsessive crowd, sitting at 4.7 on Google with people driving up from North Miami Beach to try it. Coffee people specifically call out the rotating roaster list as the reason, and the staff has a reputation for talking you through options rather than just ringing you up. Owner Daniel Karram, a Boca Raton native, is often the one doing it.
