Sunday evening at Boomers on Airport Road, the lights come up over the Thunder Road go-kart track, the bumper boats are soaking each other on the water, and the laser tag arena inside is running nonstop. It is loud, it is bright, and it is not trying to be anything else. That is the whole appeal. What most people do not know is that if you time your arrival right, the exact same night costs you $26 less.

Here is the part that gets missed. The Unlimited Attractions Pass at Boomers Boca is $59.99 Friday through Sunday. Walk in on a Sunday after 6 PM instead and the same unlimited access is $33.99, and they hand you a $10 arcade card on top of it. Same karts, same laser tag, same mini golf, and the park is open until 9 PM.

What the Pass Actually Gets You

The Unlimited Attractions Pass covers five things: the Thunder Road go-karts, laser tag, bumper cars, bumper boats, and mini golf. You can ride all of them as many times as you want in a single day, and the full day pass comes with 20 arcade credits to get you started. The batting cages are the one thing that is always a separate charge, no matter which pass you hold, so budget for those before someone gets attached to a fast pitch machine.

If you only want one thing, the singles are there. A go-kart run is $19.99, a round of mini golf or any single attraction is $17.99, and the batting cages are $5 for 25 pitches or $20 for a six pack, which works out to two free rounds. Notice that go-karts plus one round of mini golf already runs $37.98, which is more than the entire Sunset pass. Two attractions and the deal has already paid for itself.

Where to Eat Without Leaving

No outside food or drinks come into the park, so plan on eating there. The main spot is the Chill Zone Cafe, which does burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza and salads, and there is a full service cafe and bar with both indoor and outdoor seating if the adults want to sit down while the kids run laps. It is standard park food at park prices, so go in expecting that rather than a dinner out. The move is to eat first, then start the clock on the rides.

The Insider Move

Sunset at Boomers runs Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6 PM, at $33.99 with the $10 arcade card included. The catch, and this is the part worth remembering, is that you cannot buy it online. It is an in park purchase only. Plenty of people book the full price pass on their phone in the parking lot and never find out they were one counter away from paying two thirds of it.

If a Friday or Saturday works better, the equivalent is Boomers After Dark at $47.99 starting at 7 PM. And doctors, nurses, first responders and active or retired military save 15%, also in park only. Parking is free either way, which is not nothing in this part of Boca.

Check the Heights Before You Load the Car

This is the thing that ruins an otherwise good evening, so here it is up front. Go-karts need 58 inches to drive and 40 inches to ride as a passenger. Bumper cars are 44 inches and up. Bumper boats need 44 inches to drive and 40 inches to ride along. Mini golf has no height minimum listed and kids 4 and under play free. The batting cages start at age 6, and fast pitch is 16 and up.

If you have a smaller kid who cannot drive yet, the passenger seats on the karts and the boats are the workaround, and mini golf carries the rest of the night.

What People Who Go Say

The reviews that come up again and again mention two things. First, the indoor half is the real asset in a South Florida summer, because when the afternoon storm rolls through you move to laser tag, the bumper cars and the arcade and the night keeps going. Second, families who have been coming for years say the space has been steadily upgraded, with a climbing wall now where the old ball pit and net maze used to be. The most common complaint is the food pricing, which lands about where you would expect for an amusement park.

One Thing to Watch

Boomers publishes its hours a week at a time and they genuinely move around. Sunday might run 11 AM to 9 PM one week and shift the next, and Monday through Thursday the park often does not open until noon. Attractions can also close for weather or maintenance, which in a South Florida August is not hypothetical. Check the hours page the morning of rather than trusting a screenshot from three weeks ago.
