The Spicy Tuna Bomb arrives cold, the Duck Confit Rolls arrive warm, and by the time the Korean BBQ Ribs land on the table you are already wondering why you waited this long. Stage Kitchen & Bar has been on Restaurant Row at 5377 Town Center Road since March 2025. Most Boca locals still have not found it.
Chef Pushkar Marathe and partner Andy Dugard run the Boca location, their second Stage after the original in Palm Beach Gardens that has been packed since opening in 2019. The concept is small plates built from global influences - Indian, Asian, American - executed at a level that belongs in a national conversation about South Florida dining.
What You're Getting Into
The dining room at Stage is warm and intimate, with an open kitchen and good lighting. Start with the cold snacks: the Spicy Tuna Bomb ($23) is exactly what it sounds like and does not disappoint. The Duck Confit Rolls ($16) are the shareable move. From the hot snacks, the Korean BBQ Ribs ($25) with gochujang and kimchi aioli are the splurge that is worth it.
Sunday brunch is where Stage really shows off. The Black Truffle Egg Toast ($25) - soft scramble, shaved black truffle, white truffle oil - is the most talked-about plate on the table. The Crabcake Eggs Benedict ($32) with turmeric-yuzu hollandaise is the order if you want something more substantial. If you are in a sweet mood, the "Apple Pie" Stuffed French Toast ($15) with baked gala apples and cardamom cream cheese is an easy yes. And if you want to go all in, the Tandoori Steak and Eggs ($42) is there for you. For something more casual, the Stage C.A.B. Burger ($19) - aged white cheddar, caramelized onion, fancy sauce, sunflower sprouts - is a solid move from the Lunchie Munchie section. The cocktail program is serious, which makes happy hour (2-7pm daily) one of the best deals in Midtown Boca.
Save room for dessert. The Banoffee Pie with roasted banana and white chocolate dulce de leche is the thing people come back for. Cardamom Rose Cheesecake ($13) if you want something lighter.
The Insider Move
Sunday brunch runs 11:30am to 4pm, dinner picks back up at 5pm. Stage is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays. Happy hour 2-7pm at the bar every day is the smartest move in the building. Make a reservation on OpenTable, especially for weekend brunch and dinner. Parking is in the Restaurant Row lot. The Instagram is @stagekitchen if you want to see the plates before you go.
What People Are Saying
The Boca Raton Observer covered Stage as a standout in Midtown Boca, highlighting the innovative small plates and calling it one of the top openings on Restaurant Row. Palm Beach Illustrated also featured the debut. The original Palm Beach Gardens location has been a consistent local favorite since 2019, earning Marathe a James Beard Award semifinalist nomination, and the Boca location brings the same kitchen to a spot more 561 readers can reach.
