Somewhere around your second glass of wine at DeLuca's Chophouse, the live singer wraps up, the DJ takes over, and people start dancing right next to their tables. Above all of it hangs a giant mirror disco ball that the restaurant says is the biggest in South Florida. We can't measure it, but we can tell you it turns a steak dinner on S Federal Hwy into something that feels a lot more like a night out than a regular weeknight dinner. If your date nights have gotten a little predictable, this is your sign.
What It's Actually Like
DeLuca's is an Italian-American chophouse in downtown Boca, right by SE Mizner Blvd and about five minutes from the Brightline station. The room is part steakhouse, part supper club, and there's live entertainment every night. Most evenings start with a singer and end with a DJ, and the volume climbs as the night goes on. Dress is business casual, and plenty of people dress up a little for birthdays and anniversaries.
Every steak on the menu is USDA Prime. If you're splitting, the 40 oz Tomahawk for two is the big move. If you're not, the 22 oz bone-in Cowboy Ribeye is the one to beat, and there's a filet in 8 or 12 oz if you want something leaner. You can add a South African lobster tail, jumbo shrimp or scallops, plus porcini cream, bearnaise or chimichurri on the side.
The Italian half of the menu is just as serious. There's lobster ravioli in a brandy cream sauce, rigatoni alla vodka with or without prosciutto, and bucatini carbonara made with guanciale. The 16 oz veal chop parm comes on the bone, regular or "DeLuca Style." The baby gem Caesar keeps coming up in reviews too, so don't skip it. DeLuca's doesn't post menu prices online, but OpenTable puts it in the $31 to $50 range.
The Insider Move
Book the $49.95 three-course dinner. It runs all night on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and on Fridays and Saturdays you get the same deal if you order by 6 PM. Wednesday is the sweet spot, because Wine Up Wednesdays knocks 25% off wine by the glass and 50% off bottles from 5 to 9 PM. Wednesday is also Wagyu Wednesday: $95 per person gets you a 16 oz Wagyu Ribeye, a glass of house wine, and a side. If you'd rather talk than dance, ask if they can seat you in the quieter room. Valet is available, so skip the downtown parking hunt.
What People Are Saying
DeLuca's sits at 4.5 stars on OpenTable from more than 500 reviews, and the music gets the loudest praise. Recent diners describe birthday dinners that turned into full celebrations, and several call out manager Cory by name. The food reviews are more mixed than the music reviews. One September guest loved the room but found the sides too salty, and another waited a long time for food on a short-staffed night. A few recent reviews also mention a new chef in the kitchen. The Palm Beach Post named DeLuca's one of the best new restaurants in the county back in 2024, and it's been a downtown party spot ever since.
