The Kravis Center just dropped its biggest Broadway lineup yet, and if you've been thinking about experiencing live theater without flying to New York, the next 18 months are going to be incredible. Eleven shows. Premium productions. All happening right here in West Palm Beach. This is the kind of season that makes you understand why people actually plan their entire year around what's coming to the Kravis.

What's Coming This Season

Start with Dirty Dancing (October 28 – November 1). This isn't the movie anymore. This is the stage production, and if you know the show, you know what that means: the live band, the dancing that actually happens in front of you, "Hungry Eyes" reaching you directly instead of through a screen. This one's already sold a ton of tickets in other markets. Expect the crowds.

Then Spamalot arrives (November 10-15). It's Monty Python's take on the King Arthur legend—gloriously absurd, genuinely hilarious, and the kind of show that makes you remember why live comedy is irreplaceable. The energy in that theater during this run is going to be electric.

The Bodyguard (November 27-29) brings that iconic love story to life, and even though the show is shorter than the film, the emotional impact somehow hits harder when there's a real person singing those notes three feet in front of you. This runs the day after Thanksgiving through the weekend—if you're looking for a way to celebrate family time with something actually memorable, this is it.

The holiday season gets serious with The Grinch (December 22-27). This is the Dr. Seuss stage adaptation, and it's the kind of production families line up for years in advance. If you have kids or if you just want to rediscover Christmas magic as an adult, this one sells out. Don't sleep on early-bird pricing.

After the holidays, The Great Gatsby (January 6-10) brings Jazz Age opulence to the stage. This is a more intimate adaptation than you might expect, and the production design is absolutely stunning. If you read the book or loved the film, seeing this version will reframe scenes you thought you knew.

The Sound of Music (February 16-21) is the classic everyone loves—and experiencing it live, with the orchestra and the dancers and that final moment when the lights hit just right, is genuinely transcendent. This is the production that reminds you why these shows became classics in the first place.

SIX (March 9-14) is the show everyone's talking about. If you haven't experienced it yet, imagine the six wives of Henry VIII reimagined as a pop concert. The energy is relentless. The music is infectious. It's modern Broadway at its best, and the audience reaction is genuinely wild.

BOOP! (April 6-11) brings Betty Boop to the stage in a show that's pure joy. It's colorful, it's fun, and it's family-friendly in the best possible way—which means parents actually enjoy it too, not just the kids.

Hell's Kitchen (April 20-25) is the Broadway adaptation of the Gordon Ramsay cooking competition. If you've watched the show obsessively, this production brings that same high-stakes drama and personality to the stage. The set design is impressive, and the whole thing moves like a well-executed meal service—with all the tension built in.

Oh Mary! (May 11-16) is a newer production that's been getting amazing reviews. It's contemporary, it's sharp, and it's the kind of show that sparks conversation on the drive home.

Closing out the season, Jersey Boys (June 1-6) brings the Four Seasons' story to life. If you know those songs, you know how perfect they are for live performance. This is the kind of show that makes you want to sing in the car the entire drive home.

Subscription vs. Single Tickets

Season subscriptions range from $328 to $1,050, depending on how many shows you want to see and where you sit. The math almost always works out in favor of subscriptions—single tickets for premium shows easily run $60–$150 each. With a full subscription, you're locking in pricing and guaranteeing your seat for every production. New subscriptions go on sale April 20, and that's when renewal subscribers (people who already have seats) get priority. If there's any show on this list that speaks to you, getting a subscription is the move.

INSIDER MOVE: Subscribe early for renewal priority. Holiday shows (Grinch, Dirty Dancing) sell out fastest. The parking garage has 1,187 spaces, so don't worry about finding a spot. Valet is $25 and worth it on busy show nights. Arrive 30 minutes early for the first time—the venue is large and easier to navigate than it looks once you know where you're going.

The Kravis Center is at 701 Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach. If you love theater, if you've been meaning to get back to live performances, or if you just want something to look forward to, this season is it. Box office: 561-832-7469.
